New Intake 22/23

Welcome Year 6 families of the class of 2022!

We are busy meeting your children, talking to their primary school teachers and gathering all the relevant information we need to plan and prepare for them joining our school. We cannot tell you how excited we are to be able to go out to our 38 feeder schools once again, and meet the children in person after two years of Covid disruption. As ever, it is an absolute joy and one of the highlights of our school year.

We hope that you have enjoyed our newsletters so far - these will continue to come out regularly until our New Intake Day on Thursday 14 July when your child will join us for their transition day.

In addition to the newsletters we are regularly sending out information and updates via Twitter, so if you do not already follow us please consider doing so. Click here for the latest updates from our @HGSTransition twitter page.

After your child has been with us during the day on 14 July we invite you to then join us for our New Intake Information Evening which will run from 5 to 7pm. There will be two one-hour talks - you will only need to attend one of these, and you will be informated in advance which you have been allocated.

Ahead of New Intake Day, and in addition to the various links from our email on 8 June, please find below a number of key documents - it is important that you look through these as a family.
