Building strong home-school relationships is of vital importance to us, and effective communication between parents/carers and school is key to this. 

Telephone 01462 621300 – our Reception team can answer queries, take messages and help you speak to the right person, between 8.15am and 4.15pm, Monday to Friday. Outside of these hours you can leave a voicemail. To report an absence, you need to submit an online absence form.

Email admin@hgs.herts.sch.uk - this is for all new communications, including those for the attention of individual members of staff. Please include their name or role in the subject field, as well as your child's name and form. To report an absence, you need to submit an online absence form.
