Owing to the extreme heat last Friday, we had to forego some parts of our usual Founders' Day celebrations, including the procession down the hill. But the church bells still rang out, to mark what was a beautiful service at a packed St Mary's, supported by the chorists and musicians of HGS and HBS performing together to stunning effect.
