Our students put their geographical knowledge to the ultimate test at the inaugural Inter-School Geography Quiz! Hosted by Hitchin Boys' School, it was a fantastic morning where teams from seven Herts secondaries came together to tackle some truly challenging rounds!

Back in July, several of our students entered the Royal Society of Biology BioArtAttack competition, which celebrates the benefits of combining art and science to highlight the plight of endangered species. 

Year 11 Geography students had a very successful and productive three-day field trip to Sheringham, to gather essential primary data for their GCSE Geographical Enquiry component, a crucial part of their Paper 3 exam. 

HGS is now the proud holder of the Royal Horticultural Society School Gardening Award, Level 5 - the highest level there is!
