Take Your Child to Work Day
This year's Take Your Child to Work Day for Year 8s was another success, with most of our students out experiencing a work day across a huge range of settings, as you can see from the photos sent in.
Students who didn't go into a workplace still gained fun hands-on experience, first with Airbus visiting us in school and then with an outing to Sky Studios at Elstree.
Airbus ran a workshop where students had to craft a satellite that could launch its payload (a raw egg) into orbit successfully and within budget!
And at Sky our students had a go at making short films as well as seeing behind the scenes of TV production.
